Open call to artists and institutions
Outset Israel invites artists and institutions to submit an application for a new body of work to be presented for the first time in the following year.
Applications in all visual arts media are welcome. The application is open to Israeli artists, for an exhibition locally or internationally, in a public nonprofit art space, solo or group, opening in the following calendar year.
Grants are up to NIS40,000 (including VAT).
The open call for 2026 is now closed.

The application is open to Israeli artists, for an exhibition locally or internationally, in a public nonprofit art institution, solo or group, opening in the following calendar year.
Outset invites artists to apply for a grant once a year, through an open-call process that takes place between November and December. Grants are then awarded to selected projects, which are developed and realised during the following calendar year.
Outset works closely with all major art institutions in Israel, as well as with select partner institutions internationally. We maintain an ongoing dialogue with these organisations and invite both artists and institutions to apply for our grants. Once a project is selected, we collaborate closely with the artist and the hosting institution to support the work’s realisation. Our patrons also have the opportunity to meet the artists personally and engage with their practice in a meaningful and intimate way.
