Outset Israel sees great importance in creating a bridge between the professional art world and young aspiring students and artists. For that reason, between 2017-2019 then Outset Israel's director, Iris Rywkind Ben-Zour together with the Outset Israel team lead a series workshops and lectures to a variety of groups: students from leading academic institutions as Bezalel Academy of Art and Design to the Tel Aviv University, The David and Yolanda Katz Faculty of the Arts.
These presentations focused on Outset Contemporary Art Fund's activities within the Israeli and international art world, explaining which challenges we analyse in the contemporary field and wish to address in our work. The lectures offered an inside glimpse into Outset Israel and International activities, explaining how Outset and other similar funds work, how can artists obtain support for their projects, how to write artist statements, project proposals and more.
